The company also started to supply oils under the G-Energy and Gazpromneft brands to Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Slovakia, Columbia, India, South Korea, Tunisia, Cambodia, Vietnam and South Africa, thereby providing for 16% growth in foreign sales. That said the main growth results on the global market were posted by G-Energy lubricants, whose sales increased by 44% to reach 10,000 tons.

In 2015, Gazpromneft-Lubricants significantly expanded its product range thanks to the increase in the number of high-tech synthetic oils, strengthened its positions in the commercial and light vehicle segment, was developing its marketing programs and customer service. The additional driver for the company on the domestic market remains its participation in the import-substitution program, within whose scope new agreements were concluded in 2016 – with Kamchatka Krai and Astrakhan Region.

Over the past year, active expansion of the international G-Energy Service project continued. Today, over 70 partner technical service stations are already operating under the company brand in nine countries around the world: Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Italy, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and China.

“Our product portfolio features an increasing number of lubricants with multi-component formulations, which dovetails nicely with the company’s strategic objectives and path towards technological leadership,” says Alexander Trukhan, General Director of Gazpromneft-Lubricants. “We have continued the active development of our priority projects, aimed at the expansion and modernization of production and the introduction of cutting-edge standards of environmental and industrial safety. In 2017, we’ll launch the production at the Yaroslavl refinery of group III base oils* – the foundation of our high-tech products. Implementation of this project marks the first step along the way to transitioning to the 100% production of multi-component oils and greases intended for the servicing of today’s most advanced equipment.”
